Children are one of our highest priorities at First Baptist Church Laredo. Our purpose is to help grow and develop our children spiritually. We do this through Bible teaching, crafts, music, and multimedia.
On Sunday mornings, children from newborn to pre-school are in classes the entire service, and children in kinder – 5th grade participate in children’s church during the message part of the service. Older children join corporate worship with their families as we value the importance of developing them and their understanding of its importance.

Children’s Church: Sunday during the message part of the worship gathering. Children in Kindergarten – 5th Grade are dismissed from the worship after the music portion of our service and can be picked up after the conclusion of the worship gathering from the Children’s Church Room. (Parents need to please check in their children at the Children’s Check in Desk and get their child’s security tag before Church if they want their children to participate in Children’s Church.
Homeschool Co-op
Thursdays 9:30 AM
On Thursdays from 9:30 AM – 12:30 PM, the children learn Bible and several unit studies. This Program, directed by Lisa Becton, is open to both the FBC Family and the Laredo homeschool community. Check out our LAUNCH page for more information.
