Laredo Area United Network of Christian Homeschoolers, LAUNCH, is a ministry of FBC Laredo. It is an enrichment program for homeschool families. Our purpose is to be a network of homeschool families who value God’s Word, community, and learning together. We offer semester-long (12-weeks) unit studies for children as an enrichment program allowing parents to continue using the curriculum that you prefer in home. We are not a licensed childcare facility or learning center.
We meet Thursdays from 9:30-12:30 and are by grade. Our Pre-K Playschool is for potty-trained 3 and 4 year olds. Our elementary school classes consist of a Kinder, 1st- 2nd grade, and 3rd-4th grade, and 5th-6th grade. Our Middle and High School class is 7th-12th graders who go through several unit studies that keep them interacting and engaged.
We invite families to join us and parents to participate. We are homeschool moms who want to support and encourage one another while investing time into each other's children. There is the option to drop off your child(ren) for the program, too.
The number of children we get to enroll is wholly dependent on the number of moms who stay to participate in class. We are only able to offer the drop-off option, because of you amazing moms who help us teach and act as teacher aides. Families who participate will take precedence. Please, pray and consider participating with us. We love our kids and we love encouraging one another as we walk this road of homeschooling together.
